What Is a Regatta with Tangreto Like?
With Tangreto, you get more than just a regatta; it’s an experience designed to help you master the sport. The day before the race is reserved for tailored training to ensure every crew member knows their role and how to respond to any situation.
Training includes:
- Preparation: The boat must be in top shape. We’ll check sails, ropes, and every detail that could determine victory.
- Race Rules: To be fast, you need to know the rules. We’ll cover both basic and advanced scenarios.
- Start Strategy: Learn how to launch from the starting line on time and take the lead from the beginning.

This year will be even more exciting. We’re planning to join several regattas, promising new challenges and unforgettable experiences. We’re also preparing for Barcolana, the largest regatta in Europe. This epic event in Trieste, Italy, attracts thousands of boats and tens of thousands of spectators each year. Barcolana is a celebration of sailing, where professionals and amateurs come together to enjoy an unparalleled atmosphere.
“Participating in Barcolana is every sailor’s dream. It’s about connecting with the community, overcoming challenges, and experiencing the pure joy of sailing,” says Hrivnák.

This year, we’re opening up spots for anyone who dreams of racing on the sea. For each regatta, we’ll have one or two spots available for those eager to experience the regatta atmosphere firsthand or learn something new.
